What you will do

• Develop and maintain onboard robot services and libraries using C++ and Python.
• Integrate perception, control, teleoperation, and autonomy components into reliable robot behaviors.
• Contribute to build systems, test infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and developer tooling.
• Extend logging, diagnostics, and data pipelines for robot debugging and analysis.
• Investigate and resolve software issues on real robots and improve production robustness.
• Collaborate with controls, AI, teleoperation, and hardware engineers while expanding technical ownership.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with C++ and/or Python through internships, projects, research, or early professional work.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Comfort developing and debugging on Linux.
• Genuine interest in robotics and real-world systems.
• Ability to take a well-scoped problem from start to finish, ask questions, and iterate quickly.
• Employment authorization must be verified through the U.S. E-Verify process after an offer.

Nice to have

• Exposure to robotics, embedded systems, real-time systems, or other physical systems.
• Familiarity with gRPC or similar RPC frameworks, Docker, CI/CD, AWS, Bazel, or CMake.
• Experience with performance-sensitive software or projects involving robots, hardware, or systems programming.
