Infrastructure Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in Seattle, WA, United States. Relocation expenses are covered.

Base salary: $100,000–$180,000 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, maintain, and scale highly available Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Build and evolve the observability platform with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs, create actionable dashboards, and implement alerting for sensor failures and data gaps.
• Automate infrastructure management and deployment workflows using Terraform, Ansible, CDK, and GitOps practices.
• Develop internal tooling and CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity and accelerate product iteration.
• Perform system and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Production experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including deployment strategies, networking, storage, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Kubernetes operators, Helm, GitOps, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, PromQL, custom exporters, logging, and tracing tools.
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation, software development lifecycle practices, cloud platforms, and scripting or programming with Python or Go.
• Experience with RBAC, ABAC, IAM systems, and tools such as Keycloak or Okta.
• Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd and managed Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, GKE, AKS, or Rancher.
• Familiarity with Airflow, security frameworks, compliance, and standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, or FedRAMP.
• Startup experience and comfort solving complex, novel problems.
