Business Banking Specialist II (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Kansas City, Lee's Summit, or Blue Springs, Missouri

Fintech banking infrastructure provider operating an FDIC-insured community bank and supporting embedded financial products, payments, compliance, and business banking services.

What you will do

• Support business banking partners and community bank clients across email, internal messaging, support systems, and phone.
• Open and onboard business accounts by collecting information, reviewing documentation, coordinating approvals, and completing account setup.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for payments program enrollment, online banking access, payment origination, user maintenance, and account updates.
• Handle account maintenance, access changes, fee research, product updates, and general servicing requests.
• Troubleshoot ACH, wire, RDC/MRDC, Positive Pay, and related payment services, including limits, exceptions, and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate client records, workflow visibility, CIP files, and audit-ready documentation while collaborating with Banking Operations, Program Management, and Compliance.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of banking experience, including business or commercial account servicing.
• Experience opening and onboarding business accounts and reviewing documentation under bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of business banking and payments products, including online banking, ACH and wire origination, MRDC/RDC, or Positive Pay.
• Strong client-service, written communication, verbal communication, ownership, and follow-through skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to apply banking regulations, internal policies, and operational standards consistently.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and digital banking platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with treasury or cash management, payments-focused work, Q2 Business Online, or payments platforms.
• Willingness to deepen expertise in business banking and payment products.
