Data Integration Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, operate, and support production-grade data integrations and pipelines for AI workflows.
• Partner with business analysts to understand customer data requirements and extraction cadence.
• Identify data sources across customer system landscapes and define suitable extraction techniques.
• Develop extractors that populate the hirify.global semantic layer with ontology nodes and relationships.
• Troubleshoot data extraction, transformation, and integration issues and improve reliability.
• Communicate integration designs, constraints, and status to customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of experience integrating enterprise systems and extracting data.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Ability to write efficient SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with APIs, enterprise integrations, and systems of record such as ERP and CRM.
• Familiarity with AI-related integration patterns, including Model Context Protocol.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required for client-facing work.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay business processes.
• Experience accessing and updating customer systems through API calls and SQL queries.
• Experience with development environments and enterprise integration tools.
