What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and microservices for digital investment products.
- Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and developers to deliver scalable software solutions.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle.
- Drive coding, testing, architecture, and code-review practices that improve quality, performance, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to innovation and process improvement within Digital Development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Java development experience focused on enterprise-level applications.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API design.
- Proven experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, plus SQL and NoSQL database development.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services, investment management, or fintech.
- Familiarity with Angular or React and integration with backend services.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
