BIM Integration Engineer (Revit)

hirify.global develops generative software for MEP design, combining a C++23 core, Python and GCP backend services, a Svelte/TypeScript/WebAssembly frontend, and a native Revit BIM layer.

What you will do

• Engineer the Revit integration end to end, from add-in infrastructure through output fidelity.
• Translate generative outputs into clean, compliant, production-ready Revit models using firm-specific templates and jurisdictional requirements.
• Collaborate with the core engineering team on the boundary between the C++23/Python generative engine and the BIM layer.
• Define quality standards for BIM output across disciplines and project types.
• Work directly with engineering customers and design firms during rollouts to understand workflows and resolve integration issues.
• Build the foundations for BIM support across platforms, disciplines, and global markets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong C#/.NET skills.
• Proven experience developing BIM tools, ideally Revit add-ins.
• Experience integrating live BIM model data with external databases and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of the Revit data model, including families, parameters, worksharing, view templates, schedules, and documentation standards.
• Solid understanding of at least one MEP discipline: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection.
• Systems-oriented software architecture skills and ownership of outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with IFC, OpenBIM, or multi-platform BIM environments.
• Python, TypeScript, WPF, or Autodesk Platform Services experience.
• Background in computational geometry, graph algorithms, or generative design.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for CAD/BIM tooling.
• Experience in construction technology, AEC software, engineering consultancy, or direct work with technical customers.
