What you will do

• Develop and implement the company’s national government affairs agenda with cross-functional teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, legislators, and public and private stakeholders.
• Advocate for policies supporting financial inclusion and digitalization.
• Conduct qualitative research on public policy issues and monitor legislation, regulations, and industry trends.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and policy memos with actionable recommendations.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, public forums, and meetings with government officials while managing multiple client accounts and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field, ideally in financial services.
• Experience building relationships with government entities and other stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and public policy issues affecting financial services and digital products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in strategic planning and executing advocacy campaigns.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
