Director, People Operations

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and scale a global people operations team supporting employees across 20+ countries.
• Oversee HRIS administration and optimization, payroll operations, vendor management, employment compliance, and employee support.
• Manage employee mobility, visa, and immigration processes.
• Own employee lifecycle operations from onboarding to offboarding, including SLAs, CSAT, and process optimization.
• Design scalable policies, processes, operating models, controls, documentation, and audit-ready practices.
• Advise senior leaders and support M&A integration, including due diligence, employee data migration, payroll, compliance alignment, and change management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of people operations experience with a strong leadership record managing and developing distributed teams.
• Experience scaling people operations in a globally dispersed, mid-sized company of 500–1,000 employees.
• Knowledge of employment laws, cultural nuances, and HR best practices across APAC and EMEA.
• Experience building SLA- and CSAT-driven service models and driving operational excellence.
• Strong cross-functional influencing, strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Tech savvy, with experience using AI, Google Workspace, Slack, and multiple HRIS platforms.
