TL;DR
Developer Experience Engineer (AI & Blockchain): Building development frameworks, local environments, CLIs, SDKs, and debugging tools for Ritual’s AI-enabled blockchain infrastructure with an accent on developer workflows, smart contract tooling, and AI integrations. Focus on designing simulation capabilities, streamlining testing and deployment, and building open-source tools and communities around the platform.
Location: Fully remote and/or hybrid, depending on preference
Company
is building an AI-native blockchain execution layer, with Infernet enabling developers to access AI models through on-chain smart contracts and off-chain integrations.
What you will do
- Design and implement development frameworks for AI-enabled blockchain applications.
- Build fast local development environments, testing tools, CLIs, and SDKs.
- Develop debugging and simulation capabilities for AI-blockchain interactions.
- Identify developer workflow friction and create solutions for deployment and testing.
- Write technical documentation and tutorials, and run workshops and hackathons.
- Build and nurture an open-source community around the development tools.
Requirements
- Strong experience with at least one of Rust, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects and building developer tools.
- Deep understanding of EVM architecture and smart contract development.
- Experience with AI development workflows, MLOps tools, containers, and deployment patterns.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts through writing and speaking.
- Strong ownership, self-direction, communication, and ability to work under pressure.
Nice to have
- Contributions to blockchain tools such as Foundry, Anvil, wagmi, or viem.
- Experience with compiler toolchains, language infrastructure, build systems, or package management.
- Background in AI infrastructure, model deployment tooling, distributed systems, or consensus mechanisms.
- Experience growing developer communities and designing intuitive APIs.
