AI Forward Deployed Engineer

Location: Palo Alto, California, with technology hubs in Atlanta, Georgia, and Washington, D.C.; hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office for in-person roles, while remote candidates are also considered. On-site work at client or government locations may be required.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 base salary per year across US locations, plus potential equity, bonuses, and other compensation.

What you will do

• Collaborate directly with government and enterprise clients to architect, integrate, and deploy systems and capabilities.
• Architect services, microservices, and API endpoints for client environments.
• Deploy and maintain user application and prototyping platforms, owning uptime and reliability.
• Build and operate secure, compliant cloud environments for commercial and government use.
• Manage infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability across cloud environments.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• At least 4 years of professional experience, including relevant graduate or Ph.D. work.
• Strong programming foundation in Python, Scala, Java, and R.
• Strong AWS cloud management experience with ECS, RDS, S3, Cognito, and Bedrock, plus familiarity with equivalent cloud ecosystems.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with forward-deployed engineering, client collaboration, government cloud accreditation, and security standards such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, DoD IL-4/IL-5, and STIGs.

• Technical post-graduate education.
