Senior Credit Risk Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Assess the business models, operations, public profiles, and financial profiles of US SME and corporate customers.
• Underwrite customers using credit agency reports, financial statements, and bank account statements; document risks and mitigants.
• Make credit decisions within delegated authority and help maintain a performing loan book.
• Own and monitor multiple high-limit customers and customer groups, presenting risk profiles to the credit risk committee.
• Improve credit standards, documentation, tools, and scalable comhirify.global straight-through processes, including AI capabilities.
• Coordinate fact-based communication across Sales, Legal, Operations, Product, Data, Risk, and the CRO.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of operational experience assessing credit risk for US corporate and SME customers in a bank or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and industry-specific financial analysis.
• Experience with loan processing, credit decisioning, BI, open banking, and accounting tools.
• Project management skills and the ability to design and steer complex projects end to end.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to understand new problems and systems quickly.
• Fluent English with very good writing skills required.

Nice to have

• CFA or a similar qualification.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
