What you will do

• Develop and operate operational risk, incident management, and Risk Control Self Assessment frameworks.
• Review incidents, maintain risk-register data integrity, execute control testing, and perform RCSA check-and-challenge routines.
• Support risk profiling, strategy and policy development, risk-bearing-capacity monitoring, risk-limit adherence, and the annual risk inventory.
• Implement operational risk stress testing, scenario analysis, and monitoring of early-warning Key Risk Indicators.
• Manage the New Product Process from pre-assessment through committee sessions and Management Resolutions.
• Support the first line of defense, define corrective actions, and prepare quarterly Risk Reports and monthly Risk Culture Reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or an equivalent field.
• At least 3 years of experience in operational risk management, audit, or compliance within a bank, asset manager, or financial services company.
• Knowledge of operational-risk regulations and frameworks, including CRR, MaRisk, DORA, SREP, and EBA papers.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and balance competing priorities.
• Strong risk-oriented analytical skills and the ability to present complex issues clearly.
• Concise verbal and written communication skills in German and English are required.
