Member of Technical Staff (Mobile Engineering)

Location: London, United Kingdom; travel between the New York City and London offices is expected.

Compensation: £100,000–£250,000 annually in the UK, or $150,000–$400,000 annually in the US, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and launch features for the consumer mobile application.
• Collaborate with engineering, machine learning, and product specialists on new app features.
• Improve app reliability, performance, user experience, and overall polish.
• Prototype features from customer feedback and product intuition.
• Work across the Dart/Flutter app, Kotlin services, Next.js/TypeScript tooling, and Python ML codebase.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production bugs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including shipping a high-quality consumer mobile app at meaningful scale.
• Production experience building and shipping Flutter applications.
• Experience with service-oriented systems and full-stack development.
• Strong product judgment regarding UX, performance, and software quality.
• Experience with realtime or voice features.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and own end-to-end features and experiments.

• Experience working with ML codebases.
• Interest in AI and willingness to learn new languages, technologies, and concepts.
