Staff Software Engineer (Ecommerce)

Location: Hybrid schedule in Lehi, Utah, United States

What you will do

• Lead software engineers in delivering high-quality products based on strong architecture and engineering practices.
• Design and write software, APIs, third-party integrations, and services that solve complex ecommerce business problems at global scale.
• Collaborate with product, program, business, sales, and partner teams to define, deliver, and support customer-facing solutions.
• Guide planning, design, coding, delivery, support, and day-to-day technical decisions.
• Improve the throughput, stability, and lifecycle of marketplace core services and data pipelines.
• Mentor and develop software engineers and help business teams understand technical aspects of products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Broad understanding of coding and programming languages.
• Experience with database design and data modeling.
• Extensive knowledge of software development processes and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of design hirify.globals and architectural styles.

Nice to have

• Experience in ecommerce or AdTech, especially with Amazon SP-API or Walmart Marketplace APIs.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
