Junior Accountant

What you will do

• Assist the Experienced Accountant and Controller with month-end financial statements.
• Apply accounting practices for inventory, cost of goods sold, and fixed assets.
• Support billing, vendor payments, statement reconciliation, invoice discrepancy resolution, and vendor master data maintenance.
• Analyze accounts to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support external audits with documentation, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to improve accounting workflows.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with accounts payable, vendor management, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations; U.S. GAAP knowledge is preferred.
• Strong Excel proficiency is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Claude/Anthropic and ChatGPT for workflow efficiency.
• Experience with Bill.com or Coupa, analytical skills, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently.
