Accountant

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas; in-office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 2801 North Central Expressway.

Salary: USD 60,000–70,000 per year

What you will do

• Maintain accounts and sub-ledgers and prepare balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries across multiple hirify.global entities with supporting analyses and documentation.
• Prepare and analyze expense accruals for domestic and international entities within the monthly close calendar.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to obtain estimates, validate amounts, and resolve variances.
• Provide accounting and reporting support to FP&A, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Legal, and IT.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of accounting experience and the ability to manage conflicting priorities independently and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and resolve accounting problems.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or CPA candidacy.
• Experience with multi-entity or international accounting.
