Integration Engineer (AI)

Salary: $165,000 - $240,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship integrations between hirify.global and enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, SSO/SCIM, ticketing, e-signature) using TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL in an agent-driven workflow.
• Lead technical calls with customer engineering and IT teams including scoping, architecture reviews, debugging, and go-live support.
• Guide customers building against hirify.global's GraphQL API and MCP surface from initial webhook to production cutover.
• Harden integration paths with schema enforcement, validation, retries, idempotency, and graceful degradation.
• Anchor US-hours on-call coverage, triaging production issues and improving tooling for incident management.
• Feed learnings back into the product to improve connectors, documentation, and defaults.

Requirements

• Several years of solid backend or full-stack software development experience.
• Experience with third-party APIs and integration work including REST, GraphQL, webhooks, OAuth, and SAML.
• Strong AI mindset with a focus on leveraging agents and automation in workflows.
• Ownership mentality and ability to lead and unblock teams.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js (NestJS a plus), PostgreSQL, and Docker.
• Excellent communication skills for customer-facing technical interactions.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise procurement, finance, or ERP ecosystems such as Ariba, Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Workday.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms or building connector frameworks.
