TL;DR
Senior Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) (Cybersecurity): Maintaining classified information systems and leading Authorization to Operate efforts for software-defined high-power microwave defense systems with an accent on RMF compliance, continuous monitoring, and air-gapped infrastructure. Focus on managing ATO processes, conducting risk assessments, implementing mitigations, and supporting incident response across classified programs.

Location: Hybrid in Torrance, California, United States, with 3 days in the office and up to 25% travel to customer sites and testing facilities.

Salary: $150,700–$186,700 USD annually in California.

What you will do

  • Maintain existing classified information systems and manage systems operating under current Authorizations to Operate.
  • Lead classified information system processes from start to finish for future projects and ATOs.
  • Serve as a cybersecurity stakeholder in projects, security assessments, proposals, and program execution.
  • Perform continuous monitoring and build compliant, air-gapped systems for program and project needs.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Security Officer on information security education, training, and awareness.
  • Travel up to 25% to customer locations and testing facilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer or Information Systems Security Manager.
  • Full competence in executing Risk Management Framework system requirements.
  • Current IAM Level III certification, such as CISSP, GSLC, or CISM.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, SCAP, STIG, Nessus, and other security tools supporting classified programs.
  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility for required U.S. Department of State authorizations is required under ITAR.

Nice to have

  • Experience with the DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual and RMF security processes.
