Senior Incident Response Manager (Cybersecurity)

Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Francisco, CA; Austin, TX; New York, NY; or Seattle, WA.

Salary: $172,000 – $258,000

What you will do

• Lead high-stakes incidents as a senior incident commander and serve as the escalation backstop.
• Build and develop a team of senior incident responders, setting quality bars and on-call expectations.
• Own the 24/7 coverage model, rotation discipline, and response SLAs for the US region.
• Drive executive, legal, and customer communications during declared incidents, including regulatory disclosures.
• Manage joint operating relationships with Physical Security and Data Center Operations for cross-surface incidents.
• Run post-incident reviews and drive remediation across detection, response, and infrastructure layers.

Requirements

• Must have US work authorization.
• Proven experience leading material incidents end-to-end as a senior incident commander.
• Experience managing and growing a team of senior responders while maintaining on-call duties.
• Deep expertise in designing 24/7 on-call programs, including coverage models and response SLAs.
• Ability to manage technical containment alongside executive and legal communications.
• Experience operating under regulated incident-reporting regimes such as FedRAMP or SEC.

Nice to have

• Experience bridging cyber, physical, and OT/ICS surfaces.
• Background in critical-infrastructure operators, data centers, or high-availability environments.
• Experience scaling an IR team and on-call program from scratch.
• Familiarity with agent-augmented IR and response automation.
