What you will do
- Research technical topics with subject matter experts and create clear, concise, accurate documentation.
- Produce help instructions, user guides, release notes, tutorials, and API references.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, marketing associates, developer advocates, client developers, and users.
- Use tools and technologies to create, manage, and publish documentation.
- Document and improve processes, procedures, and workflows while tracking industry trends.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience writing software documentation according to modern industry standards.
- Experience writing API documentation and references.
- Experience working in agile and continuous integration environments using a Docs as Code approach.
- Experience with static site generators or command-line documentation workflows, such as Sphinx, Jekyll, or MadCap Flare.
- Experience with customer-facing documentation systems such as GitBook or Document360, and task management in JIRA.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a relevant technical degree, certification, or equivalent experience.
