Location: Hybrid and UK-based preferred; a US base is also considered, with frequent travel to the UK expected

hirify.global is a deep-tech venture studio that creates, spins out, and invests in science-led companies across pharmaceuticals, climate, agriculture, and computation.

What you will do

• Shape company strategy and market positioning with the technical and product founders.
• Lead fundraising through a competitive seed round and the path to Series A.
• Build commercial partnerships, pilots, and a paying customer base across pharma and biotech.
• Build the company through hiring, grants, academic partnerships, board development, and daily operations.
• Guide the market direction of a proven AI platform for agentic scientific reasoning and drug discovery.

Requirements

• World-class AI expertise with clearly attributable work, or deep drug-discovery expertise and a track record that can attract investment.
• Personally led a priced funding round or have a record that makes a round raisable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with scientists and investors and lead from the front as a founding executive.
• Ability to work full-time from the spin-out.
• Entrepreneurial, impact-driven, collaborative, and comfortable in an ambiguous and demanding environment.
• Must not be building or have recently built a company on the same substrate: agentic reasoning, knowledge graphs, and hypothesis generation for drug discovery.

Nice to have

• Experience at a frontier AI lab or leading AI-for-science company.
• Strong investor network in AI, deep tech, bio, or health.
• Experience scaling a company from seed to Series A and beyond.
• Commercial experience with partnerships, pilots, and paying customers.
• Experience selling technical or scientific software to pharma, biotech, or research institutions.
