Senior Strategic Financial Analyst

Location: Remote, United States; preference for candidates near Atlanta, the Bay Area, or New York City

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to develop strategic and long-range financial plans and translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Own FP&A cycles, including monthly close, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and monthly executive reporting.
• Produce budget-versus-actual reporting, variance analysis, and executive-level commentary.
• Manage annual capital expenditure budgets for software development and physical long-term assets.
• Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close, expense and accrual accuracy, and variance explanations.
• Prepare ad hoc reports, financial models, process improvements, and business cases for value-based decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline from a top institution.
• 2+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, investment banking, equity research, or a related field.
• Experience building and maintaining three-statement financial and valuation models.
• Experience with AdTech, integrations, and/or SaaS forecasting in a high-growth environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships with senior business leaders, and manage multiple projects.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with macOS or Windows and Google Workspace are required.
