R&D Analytical Senior Technologist

What you will do

• Perform polymer chemistry and analytical testing, including cloud point titration, to support new product development.
• Operate advanced characterization equipment and techniques, including SEM/EDS.
• Design and execute experiments with scientists to address product development, customer issues, and manufacturing challenges.
• Generate analytical data, reports, and presentations with clear, actionable insights.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Field Service, and QC teams to solve complex technical problems.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, support equipment reliability, and use JMP for statistical analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with SEM/EDS and polymer chemistry analytical techniques such as cloud point titration.
• Knowledge of statistical methodologies and related software, including JMP.
• Ability to independently solve problems, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
• Strong commitment to laboratory safety and accurate documentation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
• Experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
• Experience with microscopy, spectroscopy, titration, and other materials or polymer characterization techniques.
• Familiarity with databases, data systems, and collaborative platforms such as SharePoint.
