Manufacturing/Product Engineer (Manufacturing Engineering)

hirify.global is hiring for a manufacturing engineering role focused on production processes, product components, and factory performance.

What you will do

• Design manufacturing methods, operation sequences, layouts, tooling requirements, and processes for parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Implement production standards and develop cost estimates, capacity models, and recommendations for new product components.
• Develop and review factory performance indicators and provide recommendations to factory management.
• Collaborate with internal, outsourced, and external manufacturing partners on processes, standards, compliance, and manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate problem-resolution recommendations and contribute to reliable, cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing solutions across the product lifecycle.
• Prepare current-state analyses and written recommendations using research and data analysis while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in engineering design, engineering solutions, manufacturing, or a related field; an advanced degree with little or no experience may also qualify.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, process improvement, tooling, and new product development.
• Experience with data analysis, automation, supply chain, project management, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to work independently on moderate-scope problems and communicate effectively with management and manufacturing partners.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma certification.
• APICS certification.
• GD&T drawing experience with tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Python, Agile methodology, software engineering, or systems engineering.
