TL;DR
Sr. Solutions Architect (Cloud Storage): Designing and deploying cloud storage solutions using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, S3 APIs, and related integrations with an accent on customer-facing architecture, technical demonstrations, and complex troubleshooting. Focus on integrating object storage with applications and backup platforms, solving networking and security issues, and creating repeatable implementation practices for large-scale environments.
Location: United States of America; EST time zone
Base salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do
- Partner with customers and channel partners to understand technical needs and design cloud storage solutions.
- Support the sales process through solution design, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer workshops.
- Integrate with public cloud platforms, applications, backup solutions, and other technologies using S3 and related APIs.
- Troubleshoot storage, networking, security, and integration issues with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams.
- Create technical documentation, best practices, and repeatable implementation solutions.
- Track cloud storage trends and communicate customer feedback to internal product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, sales engineering, support engineering, cloud engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and object storage such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage.
- Strong understanding of S3 APIs, storage permissions and policies, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.
- Experience presenting technical solutions and explaining complex topics clearly to customers and partners.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with Linux, scripting or programming fundamentals, backup or data protection, enterprise environments, mission-critical 24x7 systems, or channel partners is beneficial; a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
