Solution Architect (Public Sector)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; willingness to travel 10–15% for customer engagements, including SCIFs.

Salary: $150,000–$275,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential clearance differential and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Advise federal customers on the technical design, architecture, implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and operation of hirify.global solutions.
• Architect secure hosting solutions across private cloud, on-premise, and government cloud environments.
• Support sales cycles by developing differentiated technical solutions, delivery roadmaps, proposals, and whitepapers.
• Present complex architectures and technical concepts to customers, partners, and other audiences.
• Guide development practices, program governance, delivery automation, version control, configuration management, and DevSecOps initiatives.
• Lead the development of customer success offerings and translate recurring technical challenges into reusable best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years advising customers on government cloud computing platforms and at least 10 years of multi-tier application design and architecture.
• Experience designing enterprise cloud environments for federal customers using AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
• Experience authoring federal proposals and whitepapers, and managing federal programs and projects using agile frameworks including Scrum and SAFe.
• Certified Scrum Master or another agile certification is required.
• US citizenship is required; possession of or ability to obtain a US government public trust and/or DoD clearance is required. TS/SCI with CI Poly is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with the federal government Risk Management Framework.
• Experience designing DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure automation using tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, Cucumber, JMeter, and FitNesse.
• AWS, Google, or Azure certification.
• Project Management Professional certification.
