Senior Solutions Architect (Databases and Cyber Resilience)

What you will do

• Advise customers, partners, and field teams on resilient database architectures across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, OCI, and traditional database environments.
• Translate business continuity, recovery time objective, and recovery point objective requirements into protection architectures, recovery workflows, and validation plans.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, sizing, architecture reviews, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements for complex enterprise opportunities.
• Design layered security controls including encryption, identity integration, logging, monitoring, and isolated recovery options.
• Define recovery drills, success criteria, and evidence-based validation approaches for outages, human error, ransomware, and other cyber incidents.
• Mentor field architects and partners, create reusable technical assets, and collaborate with product management, engineering, services, and support teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in solution architecture, sales engineering, consulting, platform engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud database services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, with familiarity with OCI.
• Experience designing backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions aligned with performance, scale, RTO, and RPO requirements.
• Understanding of security architecture concepts including encryption, identity and access management, logging, monitoring, incident response integration, and Zero Trust practices.
• Knowledge of Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Google Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, and modern data platforms.
• Strong consultative, communication, presentation, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills for working with technical and executive audiences.
