Supply Chain & Sourcing Manager (Robotics)

Developing AI-first humanoid robots that combine perception, reasoning, and dexterous manipulation into autonomous, continuously learning systems.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for motors, reducers, bearings, encoders, PCBs, harnesses, and machined or printed parts.
• Run fast-turn procurement and expedited fabrication of custom mechanical and electronic components.
• Establish incoming inspection criteria, supplier audits, and corrective-action processes.
• Coordinate production planning and small-batch builds with manufacturing partners.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and IP/NDA terms while tracking BOM cost, availability, and supply risks.
• Support logistics and export processes for global shipments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of sourcing or supply chain experience in robotics, automation, drones, automotive, or consumer electronics in China.
• Engineering background with knowledge of mechanical and electronic components, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience with fast prototype procurement, not only mass-production sourcing.
• Strong negotiation skills and an established supplier network for motors, gears, and PCB/PCBA.
• Fluent English and fluent Mandarin required.

Nice to have

• Existing relationships with actuator-chain suppliers.
• Experience supporting an R&D site of a foreign company.
• Familiarity with export compliance for robotics hardware.
