Senior Hardware Supply Chain & ODM Manager

Location: On-site in China; resident in Shenzhen or willing to relocate to Shenzhen

Salary: CN¥80K–CN¥100K plus equity

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day ODM relationship, including statements of work, milestone schedules, deliverables, negotiations, and quarterly reviews.
• Source and allocate critical components such as image sensors, IMUs, MEMS sensors, lenses, and lithium-ion cells across the Chinese supply chain.
• Manage supplier pricing, lead times, MOQs, backup suppliers, and long-lead component buffers.
• Conduct factory visits, line audits, first-article inspections, NPI runs, incoming material inspections, and floor-level quality activities.
• Coordinate DFM reviews, test fixture and assembly-line design, yield improvements, corrective actions, and production blocker resolution.
• Manage contracts, NDAs, IP protection, BOM costs, cost-down initiatives, and FCC, CE, RoHS, and REACH documentation.

Requirements

• Native Mandarin and business-fluent English.
• Resident in Shenzhen or willing to relocate to Shenzhen, China.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware supply chain or ODM management roles in China.
• Deep working network across the Chinese consumer electronics supply chain.
• Comfort working on factory floors and in vendor meetings.

Nice to have

• Experience with head-worn, body-worn, or consumer camera hardware products.
• Sony industrial sensor allocation experience.
• Relationships with Tier-1 Chinese ODMs.
• Experience scaling hardware production from fewer than 100 to more than 10,000 units per year.
