Salary: $100,000–$175,000 USD annually, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Cover Google's AI models and applications, core businesses, YouTube, hardware, data centers, and Waymo.
• Break news and publish news-focused features on the Google beat.
• Build a deep source network inside and around Google.
• Collaborate with editors and reporters across the newsroom.
• Appear regularly on TITV, the daily live video show.
• Contribute to signature projects including hirify.global 50.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of business or technology reporting experience.
• Track record of scoop-driven journalism.
• Ability to cultivate sources and own a reporting beat.
• Strong knowledge of major technology developments from recent years.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United States and ability to attend a New York City or San Francisco office 3 days per week.
