Senior Specialist, Legal Counsel (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, intercompany contracts, legal policies, and corporate documentation.
• Provide practical legal advice and dispute resolution support while balancing legal requirements with business objectives.
• Manage corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder meeting materials, registrations, filings, and compliance activities.
• Deliver training on intellectual property protection, the Code of Business Conduct, and regulatory awareness.
• Partner with HR on employee misconduct investigations, complaints, labor disputes, and labor contract matters.
• Support IP protection at manufacturing sites, legal entity integrations, restructurings, M&A, and the digitalization of legal workflows, including AI enablement.

Requirements

• Law degree from a reputable university and a license to practice law in Taiwan or the United States.
• At least 7 years of full-time legal experience, including at least 3 years of in-house experience.
• Experience in the semiconductor or technology industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong conversational fluency in Chinese and English across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Ability and willingness to adopt AI tools, including AI Agents, in legal work.
• Strong organization, analytical thinking, communication, time management, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
