Senior Director, Public Relations (Fintech)

Salary: $224,720–$382,030 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute proactive corporate PR strategies aligned with business priorities and transformation initiatives.
• Build hirify.global’s brand voice and position the company as a leading fintech authority across media, social, digital, and thought leadership channels.
• Develop rapid-response capabilities, lead crisis communications, and manage scenario planning and escalation protocols.
• Build relationships with senior financial, business, and technology reporters and editors.
• Drive executive visibility through thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and media engagement.
• Lead and develop a high-performing PR team and agency partners while using AI-enabled tools for monitoring, content development, and measurement.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in corporate or global public relations within complex organizations.
• Expertise in media relations, reputation management, crisis communications, storytelling, and narrative development.
• Established relationships with senior reporters and editors in financial and technology media.
• Experience developing data-informed PR programs from strategy through execution and advising senior executives.
• Experience leading teams, managing agencies, and handling communications during M&A, divestitures, or major business transformations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in communications or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated industries.
• Agency leadership or senior in-house experience at publicly traded companies.
• Experience with social media, digital PR, influencer strategies, global PR models, and AI-powered PR platforms.
• Master’s degree.
