NetSuite Engineer

What you will do

• Provide operational NetSuite support for Accounting, Billing, Tax, Treasury, and Procurement.
• Configure and optimize financial processes covering invoicing, revenue recognition, journal entries, and period-end postings.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, ERP stabilization, and financial process continuity.
• Design and maintain automations, SuiteScript customizations, workflows, and system integrations.
• Build financial reporting datasets, tables, SQL queries, and reports for Finance, Controlling, and Management.
• Maintain documentation, access and change controls, audit support, and data consistency across NetSuite, BI, and data warehouse systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on NetSuite experience, preferably in complex international environments.
• Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay finance processes.
• Experience with NetSuite financial configuration, including chart of accounts, subsidiaries, taxes, and items.
• Hands-on experience with workflows, custom fields, custom records, roles, permissions, internal controls, and SuiteScript.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML, with advanced SQL skills for queries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with REST, CSV, SOAP, and ODBC integrations, including troubleshooting and accounting-impact validation.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite migrations, ERP implementations, or major system changes.
• Experience building reporting datasets or databases from NetSuite data.
