Senior SAP Integration Engineer (SAP CPI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations using SAP Integration Suite and SAP CPI.
• Build APIs and integration services connecting SAP and non-SAP systems, business applications, microservices, event streams, and cloud services.
• Develop new integrations while modernizing an existing large-scale enterprise integration landscape.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance production integrations, ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and compliance.
• Participate in system design, integration architecture, technical decision-making, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Support cloud-native architectures, CI/CD and DevOps processes, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• At least 5 years of experience in integration development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, REST APIs, and enterprise system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns, system integration design, and software architecture fundamentals.
• Experience with microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture, cloud-native architecture, and Agile/DevOps environments.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating SAP PI/PO integrations to SAP Integration Suite or SAP CPI.
• Kafka and event-driven architecture experience.
• Experience with API management and gateways such as Kong or Apigee.
• Java, Quarkus, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud-native and 12-factor applications.
