Senior Software Engineer (SAP)

Location: Krakow, Poland; candidates within reasonable commuting distance must work from the office at least 3 days a week

Salary: PLN 254,000–318,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and enhance scalable hirify.global applications and data platform components centered on SAP ERP.
• Develop SAP ABAP solutions covering FI and CO business logic, SD and MM financial transactions, and Fiori interfaces.
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, estimate scope, write specifications and test plans, and deliver production-ready software.
• Design, develop, unit test, optimize, scale, maintain, and improve secure distributed backend services.
• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions, code reviews, troubleshooting, tuning, deployments, and release support.
• Mentor colleagues, research technologies, identify bottlenecks, and improve engineering quality and automation.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience with SAP ABAP programming.
• Experience with S/4HANA and ECC 6.0, ABAP OO, and preferably Eclipse/ADT.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP Unit Testing, code refactoring, service-model-driven architecture, SOLID principles, and responsible-driven design.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, create technical documentation including UML charts, and write clean, maintainable, secure code.
• Experience in enterprise product development and Agile environments, with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from the Krakow office at least 3 days per week when living within reasonable commuting distance.

• FinTech or financial services domain background, or interest in acquiring it.
• Experience assisting support teams with customer incidents and product owners with business functions or work breakdown.
