Strategic Finance Analyst (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with an expectation of three days per week on site. Employees may work remotely from abroad for up to 30 additional days per year.

What you will do

• Track and analyse LatAm cards volumes, revenue, margins, budgets, and forecasts by market.
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, business cases, and deal-economics analyses for New Business sales.
• Evaluate the financial impact and ROI of card partnerships, product launches, market expansions, pricing changes, promotions, and discounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, commission-plan tracking, month-end revenue and cost-of-sales reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly board reporting packs and commercial performance updates.
• Partner with Commercial, Product, Legal, New Business, and senior finance stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, business analysis, consulting, or a related field; internships count.
• Experience in banking, payments, or another relevant financial services industry.
• Advanced Excel skills and mastery of financial modelling.
• Proficiency in SQL, Google BigQuery, and AI tools for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, KPI frameworks, and business performance analytics.
• Ability to communicate strategically, lead cross-functional initiatives, and analyse detailed problems while maintaining a broader commercial perspective.

Nice to have

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Portuguese language skills.
• Curiosity about payments, fintech, cards propositions, and commercial strategy.
