TL;DR
FP&A Lead (Financial Planning and SaaS Finance): Leading group reporting, forecasting, management accounting, and financial planning while improving the data and processes underpinning finance operations with an accent on financial modelling, ARR reconciliation, and decision-ready management information. Focus on designing scenario-based models, reconciling Salesforce and spreadsheet revenue data, and streamlining reporting workflows during an ERP and data transformation.

What you will do
- Lead monthly management accounts, KPI schedules, reporting, and Board materials.
- Deliver variance analysis against budget, forecasts, and prior-year results, including headcount narratives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Build and maintain financial models with scenario and sensitivity analysis and three-to-five-year plans.
- Partner with commercial and operational leaders on cost management, business cases, and post-investment reviews.
- Reconcile ARR between Salesforce and spreadsheets, strengthen management information, and streamline month-end and reporting workflows.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification and 3–5 years of post-qualified experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Strong management accounting experience, including month-end, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Experience cleaning, reconciling, and validating large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Ability to present complex financial information to finance and non-finance audiences using management decks.
Nice to have
- SaaS experience and knowledge of ARR, retention, CAC, CLTV, and cohort analysis.
- Experience in PE- or VC-backed, multi-entity, or multi-currency environments.
- Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, SQL, Databricks, or comparable data tools.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude for reporting and analysis.
