Maintenance Handyman (Hospitality)

Location: Munich, with occasional work in Freising; ideally based in or near Munich

Salary: €3,100 gross per month

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance across Munich properties.
• Handle minor carpentry, painting, furniture repairs, and domestic appliance maintenance.
• Respond to guest complaints and reactive maintenance requests.
• Oversee contractors during major repairs, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Manage maintenance supplies, tools, inspection records, repair logs, and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with Operations, housekeeping, and the General Manager on safety, budgets, timelines, and operational projects.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a skilled trade.
• Experience with routine and preventive property maintenance.
• Basic carpentry, painting, furniture repair, and domestic appliance maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including fire safety, and experience conducting inspections.
• Strong responsiveness, collaboration, communication, and project management skills.
• Basic communication skills in German and English; ideally resident in or near Munich.
