Grounds Keeper/Painter (Facility Maintenance)

Location: Dolton, IL, United States; first-shift, facility-based role

Salary: $22 per hour; posted pay range: $14.42–$28.85 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain lawns, landscapes, walkways, parking areas, buildings, and facility grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance including replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, power washing, painting, and patching walls.
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs under supervision.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs and respond to requests.
• Organize maintenance tools, supplies, and work areas.
• Support company events and office reconfigurations while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Entry-level facility or plant maintenance experience in preventive maintenance, installations, basic welding, or basic electrical work.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime.
• Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach, climb, and handle objects as required by the role.
