Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Internship - France

Location: Hybrid role based in the New York City office; relocation to New York City for 6–12 months is required, starting October 2026.

Salary: $10,000 per month, with final compensation determined by qualifications, experience, skills, and other factors.

What you will do

• Work directly with customers to understand complex operational problems and design practical data-driven solutions.
• Own the end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects in small teams with significant autonomy.
• Discuss software architecture with engineers and implement custom solutions, including web applications.
• Wrangle and analyze massive-scale data using appropriate technical tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, Deployment Strategists, customer executives, and other stakeholders.
• Establish project or team strategy and take responsibility for real-world customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a second- or third-year student at a leading French Grande École, or recently graduated.
• Fluent English is required.
• Must be available to relocate to New York City for 6–12 months starting October 2026.
• Must not be enrolled in university classes during the internship period.
• Engineering background in computer science, mathematics, software engineering, physics, data science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
