Harnessing Technician (Defense Technology)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite. Travel 15–25% across the United States is required. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the wire harness manufacturing process from design through field troubleshooting.
• Assemble, maintain, and operate mechanical and electrical systems, including PCBAs and end products.
• Perform wiring, crimping, soldering, switchgear assembly, and repetitive and non-repetitive fabrication.
• Develop manufacturing jigs to improve harness production speed and yield.
• Troubleshoot and rework circuit designs, and prepare and execute electrical and environmental test plans.
• Manage harness and PCBA inventory, tooling, equipment, and workplace safety.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with electrical or mechanical assembly.
• Associate degree.
• Experience in military, aerospace, or intelligence community environments.
• Leadership experience demonstrated through management, public service, community organizing, or similar work.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under export-control regulations.
• Ability to work onsite in El Segundo and travel 15–25% within the United States.
