Senior Software Engineer - Customer Integration (C/C++ Embedded)

Location: Pangyo, South Korea; hybrid office work arrangement.

What you will do

• Contribute to a mission-driven engineering squad across the full lifecycle from implementation to verification.
• Design and develop high-quality C/C++ embedded software based on customer requirements.
• Create Python test cases and automation frameworks for unit, integration, and deliverable verification.
• Maintain technical documentation covering APIs, dependencies, and customer integration guides.
• Review code for logic, testability, safety, and production readiness, and resolve CI/CD build and test failures.
• Support domestic and international partner test events and troubleshoot integration issues in vehicles and test-bench environments.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in embedded software development or engineering.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills, including pointers, memory management, and data structures.
• Professional development and debugging experience in a Linux environment.
• Experience using Python for test scripting or engineering automation.
• Willingness to balance development and QA responsibilities, potentially up to a 50:50 split.
• Ability to investigate beyond the happy path and assess software safety and reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, ASIL, automotive design reviews, or audit processes.
• Experience with MISRA C/C++, Coverity, Polyspace, or similar static analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, CAN, and SOME/IP automotive communication protocols.
• Experience with PyTest, GoogleTest, Jira, Confluence, Git workflows, and Agile/Scrum squads.
• Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude.
