Software Engineer - Customer Integration (C/C++)

Location: Pangyo, South Korea; hybrid office work arrangement with on-site support required for major partner test events.

What you will do

• Contribute to a mission-driven squad and execute the full engineering lifecycle from implementation through verification.
• Design and develop C/C++ embedded software based on customer requirements.
• Create Python test cases and automation frameworks for validating individual features and squad deliverables.
• Maintain technical documentation covering APIs, dependencies, and customer integration guides.
• Review code for logic, testability, and safety, and resolve build and test failures in CI/CD pipelines.
• Support partner test events on site and troubleshoot integration issues in vehicle and test-bench environments.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C/C++, including pointers, memory management, and data structures.
• Solid development and debugging experience in Linux environments.
• Experience using Python for test scripts or engineering automation.
• Willingness to balance development and QA responsibilities, potentially on a 50:50 basis.
• Ability to evaluate edge cases and safety beyond the happy path.
• Experience with cross-functional squads or Agile/Scrum, Git workflows, and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, ASIL, automotive design reviews, or audit processes.
• Knowledge of MISRA C/C++ and static analysis tools such as Coverity or Polyspace.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as PyTest or GoogleTest.
• Deep understanding of automotive Ethernet, CAN, and SOME/IP protocols.
• Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude.
