Director, Product Management (Payments)

Location: Remote Canada; working hours aligned with EST or CST. Occasional domestic and/or U.S. travel is required for in-person events and meetings.

Compensation: CAD $220,000–$240,000 or USD $240,000–$260,000, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive.

What you will do

• Lead a product team responsible for payment applications, including point-of-service collections, card-on-file, statements, and payment plans.
• Set the vision and strategy for the payment product suite with the executive team.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with marketing and client solutions teams.
• Build business cases and feature strategies in collaboration with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.
• Analyze competition, define product positioning, and track product and business metrics.
• Represent the product vision internally and with healthcare clients.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare and a high-growth B2B SaaS environment using Agile methodology.
• Demonstrated experience hiring, mentoring, and managing product teams.
• Ability to define product vision and strategy and translate it into a concrete roadmap.
• Experience developing and launching payment processing applications or similar products.
• Experience with platform-as-a-service products, APIs, and payment integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment APIs and SDKs, hosted payment options, NFC/EMV, and P2PE.
• Experience with online/ecommerce, card-present/POS, and recurring or card-on-file payments.
