Engineer II, SCRUM Master/Project Planner

What you will do

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including stakeholder alignment, retrospectives, sprint planning, and daily standups.
• Help the engineering team break down complex deliverables into granular, trackable tasks for capacity planning.
• Review rolled-over and newly identified tasks and finalize realistic sprint backlogs.
• Calculate team velocity and capacity to prevent overcommitment.
• Prioritize urgent customer needs, floor support, and long-term project obligations with leadership and external stakeholders.
• Build Jira and PowerBI reporting systems to track sprint health, blockers, project progress, and engineering bandwidth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Manager.
• Strong experience with capacity planning, task estimation, and breaking down technical work into manageable tasks.
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations and protecting teams from scope creep.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Asana.

Nice to have

• Experience applying Agile or Scrum methodologies in hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing.
• Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, or similar Agile certification.
