Location: Los Angeles, CA; on-site. Travel on short notice may be required for test campaigns, up to 50%.
Salary: $138,550β$187,450 per year

What you will do
- Develop and standardize procedures and automation for aircraft checkout, integration, development testing, and taxi testing.
- Design software and automation tools for autonomous vehicle operations and aircraft system testing.
- Integrate and test flight hardware while providing daily direction to field technicians and specialists.
- Review test results, ensure flight readiness, and resolve off-nominal findings with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Improve processes and equipment, reduce production waste, and convert lessons learned into systematic improvements.
- Manage work orders and drive non-conformances to actionable resolutions.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in an engineering discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience with mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid systems.
- Experience with software systems, writing and debugging code, and developing test plans and procedures.
- Hands-on experience integrating electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
- Experience testing or operating hazardous systems such as high-voltage, high-pressure, or combustible-fluid systems.
- Must be eligible to pass Air Force background checks and meet U.S. export-control requirements, including U.S. person status or eligibility for deemed export licensing.
Nice to have
- Expert-level first-principles engineering knowledge.
- Experience with large assembly moves, including crane operations.
- Advanced degree in electrical, computer, mechatronics, mechanical, or aerospace engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- Experience leading others and supporting learning in a demanding startup environment.
