hirify.global develops advanced rocket propulsion platforms, including rotating detonation rocket engines and detonation ramjets, for space, defense, and commercial high-speed flight.

What you will do

• Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, delivery commitments, and performance for required materials.
• Execute purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of machined parts, raw materials, and services.
• Manage supplier relationships, RFQs, competitive bids, and pricing negotiations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and support the transition to scalable procurement systems.
• Partner with Engineering from R&D through production ramp to fulfill procurement requirements.
• Provide stakeholders with purchase order status and anticipated delivery updates.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of procurement experience, including 3 years in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC milling, CNC turning, multi-axis machining, complex assemblies, special processes, and inspection requirements.
• Experience sourcing tight-tolerance, low-volume/high-mix, prototype, development, and production machined components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience sourcing, onboarding, and negotiating with suppliers.
• Must be able to meet U.S. ITAR export-control requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with MRP systems.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other innovative manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards and U.S. export-control requirements.
• ASCM/APICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP.
• Experience working in rapid-growth, fast-paced environments.
