Software Engineer (Embedded)

Location: US Ohio. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Bring up and verify new embedded system platforms using test C code and laboratory equipment.
• Design and test low-level control drivers for peripherals such as converters and synthesizers.
• Bring up real-time embedded operating systems, including RT-Linux, on ARM platforms.
• Implement, verify, and test embedded drivers and algorithms in C/C++ based on system specifications.
• Ensure modules meet specifications and interface correctly with the wider system.
• Collaborate with mixed-signal and digital design engineers and help select embedded system controllers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience implementing autonomous systems, such as those used in self-driving cars.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and ship C code for embedded systems.
• Fluency in C/C++ and the ability to rapidly design, test, and verify systems.
• Experience with embedded operating systems, including RT-Linux, on ARM platforms.
• Experience with ARM and MIPS microcontrollers.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
