Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ for ARM-based SoCs and microcontrollers.
• Own board support package development, peripheral driver integration, and RTOS task scheduling.
• Optimize power consumption and thermal performance for always-on, battery-powered devices.
• Build and maintain OTA update infrastructure and factory test and calibration firmware.
• Collaborate with hardware, product, and on-device AI teams on silicon, sensor, and model-inference integration.
• Debug hardware-software interactions using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG, and related tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional firmware or embedded systems development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C and/or C++ in resource-constrained environments.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M or Cortex-A processors and associated toolchains.
• Hands-on experience with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or a similar RTOS.
• Familiarity with BLE, Wi-Fi, or Thread wireless protocols.
• Ability to read schematics and use embedded debugging tools while working with hardware engineers during board bring-up.

Nice to have

• Power optimization experience for battery-powered consumer devices.
• Familiarity with secure boot, firmware signing, or hardware root of trust.
• Exposure to ML inference runtimes on embedded platforms.
• Experience shipping consumer electronics through EVT, DVT, and PVT milestones.
