Senior Cyber Engineer (TS/SCI w/CI Poly Required)

Location: Herndon, Virginia, USA; hybrid work with on-site attendance 2–3 days per week and approximately 50% travel to CONUS and OCONUS customer facilities.

Salary: $151,800–$187,500 USD base salary annually, plus bonus plans and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, integrate, and support enterprise Cross Domain solutions for U.S. Government customers.
• Use Linux and scripting to support secure data transfer and customer-driven requirements.
• Engage directly with customers on solution design, analysis, implementation, troubleshooting, training, and support.
• Review requirements, design integrated solutions, integrate multiple tools, and perform formal security and functional testing.
• Troubleshoot Linux-based and complex network environments, implement failover capabilities, and validate interoperability.
• Prepare technical briefings and communicate solution details to customers, leadership, and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a currently used CI Polygraph is required.
• At least 8 years of experience as a cyber engineer supporting enterprise software solutions.
• Strong Linux, scripting, networking, TCP/IP, firewall, and router knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or an equivalent field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to customers and non-technical audiences.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the United States; certain positions may require U.S. Person status under ITAR or EAR.

Nice to have

• Cross Domain solution security design and architecture experience.
• Experience with virtualized and networked environments.
• Security COTS product integration, including firewalls, web gateways, and Data Loss Prevention tools.
• Experience preparing documentation for Assessment and Authorization activities.
• SANS GSEC, CISSP, or DODI 8570.1-M IAT Level I compliance.
